Today we visited the Gallo-Roman site of Vessuna, in the nearby city of Perigeux.

But first, coffee.

The museum is built right over the site, so you look down into it from walkways above.

Also, there’s a Playmobil version.

I was delighted that I figured out that the objects on the lower right are spindles (for hand-spinning yarn)!https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=14SUecE7nVuH5mCcJ9GWmibteim5RRGL9
The nearby temple to the goddess Vessuna was also pretty photo-worthy!https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1-io8hohd-wJ_ezuAbLIwIwOU199fbAxqhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1CvpQDlsFbcwo4FwXalyIRJYdsUIEQeNrhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1arm9fB9EAbwdZ5t31jdoDsJmhFuDD7hT
Including Charlotte’s awesome vertical panorama!
